In these three original hypnosis sessions, we’ll approach the challenge from all sides. You’ll take the sessions in sequence, as they build on each other. All you have to do is relax and let your powerful subconscious mind do its best work..

In Session One, we’re going to chase down your inherent perfectionist thinking, and guide you towards a more open-minded approach which allows for a more reasonable measure of success and achievement.

Your life is an iterative process. The way you think about yourself is not what you were born to think; you’ve learned and acquired it through your life experiences, going right back to your formative childhood years.

It’s quite possible that your subconscious perfectionism is the result of a personal defence strategy, a dislike of criticism, or at the extreme, the influence of what was said to you at critical points in your development when you were made to feel inadequate because you didn’t quite measure up to someone else’s view of how you should be.

All of which is invariably wrong, and can be easily fixed in hypnosis. (39 Minutes)

 

In Session Two, we’ll take a pragmatic approach – general rather than specific – to reduce your sensitivity to the real-life effects of your perfectionism. Most perfectionism is rooted in the needs of the individual - in this case you - to eliminate criticism from your life because of the way it makes you feel. This need to avoid adverse commentary can manifest itself as procrastination, or even avoidance.

However this has happened in your life, it comes back to your own sense of self-worth; your belief that other people will think less of you, or alternately that you will think less of yourself, if you don’t meet your own unrelenting high standards. This session is designed to confront that distorted mindset, and embed a new code that will serve you better in the future. (32 Minutes)

 

In Session Three we’re going to take the things that we already know, and over-write the old beliefs that you’ve been holding onto for so very long. The mission of your powerful subconscious mind is primarily to protect you, but over the years this protective instinct may have been warped by your experiences, so that in trying to protect you it may actually be harming you.

In this session we’re going to be re-aligning that thinking, so that it more usefully matches the way you’d like to be, free of the self-imposed pressures that you loaded onto yourself.

As with all my hypnosis programs, this one will work better and faster if you’re confident going in and out of hypnosis. If you’ve tried hypnosis or hypnotherapy in the past, and feel that it worked for you, you should be fine. If this is your first time, I recommend you complete my two short conditioning recordings (included free in your download package) before you set to work on your procrastination.
